Ecuador has proven in the qualifying rounds that they can beat the premier teams with wins over argentina and brazil. It is also worthy of note that ecuador has beaten costa rica and poland by a bigger margain than germany did. If there is going to be a suprise contender in this world cup it will be ecuador!
